Day For Night Music Fiction Graphic Fonts Newsletter 2007 06 - The Label, Music, Catalogue, Product
Eric Scott

Hi from Eric ~

First of all thanks for letting me include you in this latest Day For Night newsletter. Infrequent as these announcements are, the last one feels like a distant memory and it seems like the time to do a proper re-introduction on the various original music projects, and free podcast releases in our “OverCast” series on iTunes – all featuring original Day For Night artist tracks and mixes... and all are projects that yours truly is proud to have been directly involved in.

I hope this finds you well, and thank you again for your continued help and support and exposure.

If you’d like to continue receiving the occasional update, please feel free to send a reply back, say something simple like “include me” or to send any feedback this way, kind or otherwise.

Please – if this list bothers you or is unnecessarily intrusive, then forgive us. Respond by unsubscribing (see below) if you no longer wish to receive our emails, and we shall immediately be separated. No questions asked.

All the best,

Eric
OVERCAST

“OVERCAST” – Podcast Series

"OverCast" ...What began as the occasional Day For Night podcast has gained a little additional momentum...

"OverCast" is a themed series of eclectic podcast mixes (genres ranging from fringe electronica, drum ‘n’ bass, trip-hop and downtempo, avant-garde-jazz-classical, spoken-word sound collage) and curated by the Day For Night "artist roster" (and those of you in the know have some idea of exactly who that really means most of the time!)

Scroll below (see DAY 010 –> DAY 090) for more detailed information on all the curators and musical themes within the series.

American Idol Songwriter Competition

AMERICAN IDOL SONGWRITING COMPETITION

Many thanks again to all of those who sent in their votes of support and encouragement on our submission of "My Nature" by Eric Scott, for the 2007 American Idol Songwriting Competition!

A jangling love song with a hooky chorus, "My Nature" is far less the kind of stuff AI finales are made of (it’s not a power-ballad) – but easily sounds more at home with its 80s and 90s Britpop influences!... >> Listen to this Track
